WaterSense Product Specification Review Updates
In case you missed the EPA’s WaterSense® Notice of Specification Review public meeting and webinar on February 14, you can now access the recording, presentation slides, and meeting summary via the WaterSense website. The webinar provided background information on WaterSense, introduced requirements from the America's Water Infrastructure Act of 2018, and reviewed the Notice of Specification Review. The notice summarizes the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's plans to review and consider revising its WaterSense specifications for tank-type toilets, flushing urinals, lavatory faucets and faucet accessories, showerheads, and weather-based irrigation controllers.
Additional Stakeholder Webinars
EPA is hosting a series of webinars targeted to specific stakeholder groups to discuss information collected to date and focus in greater depth on topics and issues related to each product category. These webinars are open to all stakeholders but are targeted towards manufacturer and utility partners that would be impacted by specification revisions. Call-in details and other meeting information will be emailed upon registering.
