Utah Offers $100 Rebate to Replace Old Toilets
Residents of the state of Utah are being offered $100 to replace their old, water-wasting toilets with a more efficient model.
Funded by the Utah Division of Water Resources, the program offers rebates for toilets manufactured before 1994, provided the new toilet is WaterSense labeled. The rebate is limited to two per household.
"This is the first year a statewide toilet rebate has been offered in Utah and is part of the state’s water conservation plan," Megan Hatch with the Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District told 2News.
