Eatherton, Erickson Listed Among Most Influential In Plumbing/Hydronics Industry
Mark Eatherton, the executive director of the Radiant Professionals Alliance, and former IAPMO board member Bill Erickson have been recognized by Contractor magazine as being among the most influential people in the plumbing and hydronics industry.
Eatherton joined IAPMO in January 2013 when he was hired as technical director of the RPA, which merged with IAPMO in 2011. A 37-year veteran of the radiant/hydronic industry who has been an RPA member since 1995, Eatherton was promoted to executive director in May 2013. Prior to joining the RPA, Eatherton served the industry for years as an expert witness and consultant.
Bill Erickson, chairman of C.J. Erickson Plumbing in Allsip, Ill., served on IAPMO's Board of Directors from 2006 to 2012. He also was the inaugural chairman of the Green Technical Committee, which has developed two editions of the Green Plumbing and Mechanical Code Supplement. For his efforts, IAPMO honored Erickson with the 2013 Joseph Kneidinger Green Contractor of the Year Award at its 84th annual Education and Business Conference in Kansas City in September 2013. Additionally, Erickson served on the board of the Plumbing Contractors of America for 10 years – three as chairman – and the Mechanical Contractors Association of America's board for six years. He received the MCAA's highest honor, the Distinguished Service Award, in March 2012.
