ARCSA Introduction to Rainwater Harvesting Workshops
(Level 100)

Level 100 workshops are one day introduction courses open to anyone interested in learning more about rainwater harvesting in non-potable applications, such as landscape irrigation. This course will provide an overview of rainwater harvesting, history, uses and applicability to conserving rainfall as a natural resource. Concepts and techniques are introduced on harvesting rain for non-potable uses such as landscape irrigation and wildlife management. Demonstrations are conducted to reinforce the concepts learned through rainfall simulations and the use of a simple rainfall harvesting system. The cost to attend this workshops is $50. ARCSA Rainwater Harvesting Accreditation Courses (Level 200)

The completion of a Level 200 course is a requirement for attaining accreditation as an ARCSA Accredited Professional. Once completed, individuals must also pass an ARCSA Accreditation Exam in order to attain the ARCSA Accredited Professional designation.

These workshops are open to the public, or any industry professional looking to attain the ARCSA Accredited Professional designation. The courses are designed for individuals desiring to pursue a career in rainwater management. Topics covered include basics of rainwater catchment design and installation, in-home rainwater use; sanitation for potable uses; rules and regulations, guidelines and restrictions; business management; project planning; site and installation safety; and system construction and maintenance.The cost to attend this workshop is $295.
