WaterSense Releases 2018 Accomplishment Report

The WaterSense program has saved more than the amount of water used by all U.S. households for 4 months, according to their report released last month. Through the end of 2018, WaterSense has helped Americans save a cumulative 3.4 trillion gallons of water and more than $84.2 billion in water and energy bills. Additionally, the use of WaterSense labeled products saved 462.5 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity.


Water Conservation and Efficiency Priority Among State Legislatures

Legislatures across the country have adjourned their 2019 sessions leaving only 12 states in active sessions at this time, over half of which are full-time legislatures. Water conservation, efficiency and resource planning legislation was certainly a top priority in many states.


2019 California Plumbing Code, California Mechanical Code Now Available

The 2019 editions of the California Plumbing Code (CPC®) and California Mechanical Code (CMC®) have been formally released. Both the hardcopy and eBook versions, viewable on computers, tablets and smart phones, can be purchased and downloaded via the IAPMO web store at www.iapmo.org.

IAPMO Announces Commitment to Improve WASH in Healthcare Facilities

IAPMO has pledged to work with plumbing industry and NGO partners to advance effective water and sanitation services in healthcare facilities for millions of the world’s poor during a stakeholder commitments gathering hosted by Global Water 2020 and the Global Health Council at the Pan American Health Organization Assembly Chamber in Washington, D.C.
