Mark Eatherton Joins RPA as Technical Director
This is good news not only for the RPA, but for the entire industry. Mark is a 36-year veteran of the radiant/hydronic industry and an RPA member since 1995. He recently served the industry as an expert witness and consultant, but said the opportunity to help develop the first radiant code convinced him to accept the position with the RPA.

The RPA works daily to broaden the recognition, acceptance and proper installation of radiant and hydronic technologies. It also serves the stakeholder members with technical expertise, education and support programs.

Just Where Is the Radiant Professionals Alliance Headed?
In my opinion, there is nowhere to go but up, and I believe that will happen in relatively short order. Hydronics has been a part of my life for more than half of my life. Radiant has been a substantial aspect of my life since 1995; a year after the RPA was conceived. I have watched the growth of the industry, which in the beginning was a bunch of intelligent people doing things and using materials that were rarely seen prior to this radiant revolution

It was an A+ Board of Directors Meeting
The RPA Board met Jan. 31 following the AHR Expo. It proved to be a meeting of Accomplishment and Advancement. Standing committees were on the agenda and were further populated by a significant number of impressive industry experts.

Record Attendance at ASHRAE's January, 2013, AHR Expo in Dallas Plays an Important Role in RPA's Membership Progress
AHR reported the 2013 total attendance was 51,337 and, as a result, the RPA exhibit booth experienced non-stop visits for three days from former members, current members, and potential members. It was inspiring to talk to so many people who look forward to the continued evolution and success of the RPA.
