Steven H. Allen Installed as Green Mechanical Council Executive Director
 The Green Mechanical Council is pleased to announce the installation of Mr. Steven H. Allen as their new Executive Director.
He is the former Director of the Sustainable Technologies Department of the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada (UA). r. Allen brings over 40 years experience as an HVACR Service Technician and HVACR educator to the Green Mechanical Council.
He works with HVACR Manufacturers, Contractors Associations, and Career Technical Schools to develop classroom and web-based HVACR certificate and degree programs that lead to employment.
He is the developer of the UA STAR Testing and Certification program, and was the Refrigeration Expert and Competitor Judge representing the United States at the 2007 World Skills Competition in Shizuoka, Japan. Mr. Allen has a Masters Degree in Education with a Certification in Instructional Technology. Steve Allen can be contacted at shallen@greenmech.org
