Penguin Toilets LLC Model 524 Receives 2011 Best of KBIS People’s Choice Award
Penguin Toilets LLC received the People's Choice Award for its Model 24 with Overflow Protection at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show in Las Vegas. The award is selected by the attendees of the show for functionality, quality/durability, flexibility, aesthetics/style and innovation, introduced in the past 12 months.
Model 524, which is fully listed with IAPMO, is the only toilet on the market with built-in overflow protection. This is achieved thanks to a patented secondary drain system that adds two areas of protection from overflows - one from the primary inlet holes and one from the holes under the rim within the toilet bowl.
Model 524 is WaterSense listed at 1.28gpf, utilizes a Fluidmaster 3-inch flush valve and has a 1000gram MAP score. No additional work is required to install the toilet, which will fit onto standard closet rings.
